Eris lagging

Why is my Eris lagging too much? I am not running too many applications in background. Any help would be appericated!!

You might wanna try removing the battery for about one minute.

That worked for me, when mine was laggy. Also all the usual stuff like apps running and clearing the browser cache and history and such.

May need to repeat in the future. But who cares? Awesome phone!
