Eris Screen Flicker/Dimming

I'm new to the Droid Eris and i've been noticing at times my screen will flicker then dim then become bright does the Eris have light sensitive features when moved from place to place with different room lighting?

Yes, the Eris has light sensitivity and will auto-adjust screen brightness by default. This can be disabled and you can set your screen brightness.

Menu > Settings > Sound and Display > Disable auto backlight

If this is checked, it will stop auto-adjusting and will use whichever brightness you desire.
