You can disable windows animations, and transition animations to pep things up.

warning, the latest update gives you the ability to adjust the process manager from normal to aggressive (the droids built in app killer) it does kill off sense after using other apps though, so stay clear of this setting.

Just wondering, for the part about changing the process manage to aggressive...is there any option in the program to make exceptions to the rule? Maybe exclude sense from what it kills?

at this time no... since its an automatic android function... maybe once the phone is broken/root we can go into its function and change it.

Sense is useless. I hope it stops sense from running..

The stock keyboard is garbage, without sense you lose the better keyboard as well as the HTC widgets.

BTW I installed spare parts within a week of getting my eris and it was an immediate difference in performance.
