Android Central Question

I'm running Android 6.0.1 on a Nexus 2013 tablet and recently my GPS has started behaving bizarrely, but only in certain outdoor locations. The cursor will jump to a nearby location, gradually drift back towards the correct location before jumping away again.

I've tried using the GPS Status app, resetting my GPS, clearing the cache, restarting the tablet, but it keeps doing this. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

It's not your phone, it's interference being generated at those locations. (And it's illegal too - if you fill out an FCC complaint form [available online], they'll probably investigate and force whoever is running the things causing the interference to stop using them until the manufacturer fixes them. GPS is serious business - imagine an armed missile getting loose [some of those things can travel very long distances] and deciding that the local McDonalds is the target. Oops.)

Aside from making the complaint, there's nothing you can do.
