Error code trying to log on messages android website

Android Central Question

Whenever I try to connect my phone to the website messages android com I get 'error code - log on by scanning the QR code on messages android com' (roughly translated), but I'm scanning the QR code on this site. I have tried this on 2 separate phones with 2 seperate SIM cards (I needed a new phone anyway), both with the same phone number. Anybody any idea how I can fix this?
