Error: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration
Hi, when trying to run my fist application I get the above error and the following:-
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed.
I have downloaded the 'Intle x86 Emulator Accelerator(HAXM installer) from the SDK Manager and still I get the error.
I have seen some threads which mention 'Hardware Virtualization' being enabled but have been unable to find how to do this. Also I have seen mention of disabling 'Hyper V' yet when I go to do this it is not showing as a feature I can disable. Is this because I am running Windows 10 Home and not Pro? If so is there a way of getting Android Studio to work on my version of Windows?
Many thanks
Andy
