esim google messages rcs chat change color does it work or not

i know i been rambling about issue and i wanted to go at and t today but was about to rain so will go tomorrow

we all know about my issue how guy weds night put a sim card in activate it but couldn't smart switch i did it then next day somebody else smart switch again old phone to new one again just to double check and i no longer have s20 plus phone they factory reset sent it back for verizon trade in

nobody text message me weds night but after sim card was taken out thurs afternoon by mistake and esim was activated when my brother text message me friday morning and i had on dark blue rcs chat it default to light blue instead and same thing when somebody else text message me i for one am not a fan of esim 1 of main reasons why i wanted sim card had it on old phone seems whatever i try to change color it will not change at all chat bubble despite it shows preview after confirm

samsung told me
the transition from a physical SIM to an eSIM on your Galaxy S25+ (AT&T model) might cause some changes in the RCS chat colors. This is because of the way the eSIM communicates with the carrier's network, which can differ from a traditional SIM card. Despite this difference, it shouldn't affect the phone's overall performance or functionality. <-this is what samsung in chat told me other day

its rather odd that esim when you click on a person rcs chat google message click on 3 dots change color and you choose say dark blue and it shows preview what supposed to say when person text back it supposed to be whatever color you choose and black on your side instead it just stays on default color light blue

when i went into samsung forms somebody thinks e-sim or physical SIM, there is no reason it should affect Google messages and its theme at all--otherwise everyone on AT&T would have this issue. Even doing Smart Switch a second time, SS will only transfer what was not already transferred over. Your best bet right now is to uninstall Google Messages and reinstall it. It's more likely something got scrambled in the multiple data transfers.

i do see i can uninstall google message in google play but still i think reason being is the guy removed sim card and having esim affecting the color change bubble chat put in sim card i will have no issues changing color

i think somebody has a esim on their phone can anybody confirm can still change bubble rcs chat with esim reguardless i'm still not a fan and go to tomorrow get sim card in have them deactivated esim

clear data and uninstall update doesn't work btw

i'm still sour over what guy did if it was phone to phone from same place esim to another esim yeah but jumping ship verizon to at and t you can't do it store put sim card in

is nobody going to check on their phone who has esim help me? i hope go over there today i'm going to challenge them before they put another sim card in which shouldn't done in 1st place and see i doubt any phones have a esim and all have sim card in if that's the case and they can't actually proved that esim is what causing me not to change colors inside a rcs chat then it must be esim card activated and sim card was taken out by mistake thurs meh

i know that old phone when i kindof clear data google messages i forgot to back up sms sm when i did smart switch weds night i kindof lost some messages and instead of me download samsung message app and then go back google message and they return

i did on old phone i kindof download sms backup restore app and only transfer sms messages to new device s25 plus to get them back then deleted off old phone so am not sure that cause of it

again old phone that was verizon s20 plus when at the time only my brother and his youngest daughter rcs and i change color that has sim card when they messages me back that color shows up

i just don't get it trying to chat with samsung don't work i even try to post google message form no reply all i want is confirm if esim works or because esim never change have to put that new sim card in i did try to google chat but say live chat unavailable

maybe i do need to uninstall and reinstall google message play store i don't know but again i despise this esim crap

ya know all that mess about google message rcs color change i had it backwards it was on my side color change dark blue guess i forgot about it because i text my dad yesterday and that was color all that worrying and confusing was nothing ha now should i still keep esim activated or despite that i had it 1 day past weds go back to store have them put sim in





i don't know how hard it is to get the poetic guardian case off or not i try to get it off 1 time seems difficult have to find grove right side somewhere what are you thoughts leave it alone or what?
