Essential on Verizon

I'm not able to make voice calls on my essential phone, data works but no voice, how can I fix that?

Have you talked to Verizon and made sure the phone is properly activated on Verizon's network? If it isn't activated for the CDMA radio, but the LTE radios are working (but VoLTE not turned on) it would explain why you could get data and not voice. So I'd first check with Verizon, make sure the phone is set up properly on their network, both CDMA and LTE.

Thank you for that, it turns out the enhanced 4G LTE mode was enabled, I turned it off and I was able to send and receive calls
