Essential PH-1 GPay Italy

I would like to buy a refurbished ph-1 but I want to be sure the GPay works in Italy. For sure the phone does not be unlocked or rooted but I must check something further?

Hi Rukbat and thacks for the suggestioni but i already know my bank and credit card are compatible with gpay. In the past, I bought a Xiaomi mi mix 2s china version It was original and unlocked, GPay installed succesfull, credit card also successfully added but during the payment processo, Google services deny the transaction. So, because essential phone ph-1 Is not officially sell in Italy i would be sure the payment with gpay works
