The 128 GB storage is the standout feature for me, along with the whole modular aspect. I like the ability to clip on a 360 degree camera and film away. Not sure if the modular thing is going to work since LG didn't do so well with it. But let's stay positive

The modularity should work like Motorola. It will live and die with their ability to produce quality mods and get the community to build as well. If they can't it fails. but I'm excited. Can't wait as it for them to ship.

The Moto Mods from the Motorola was really good. Depends how they do it. 128GB isn't needed especially if you're can get a micro SD for most Android phones. Might drive the price way too high.

When you purchase the Essential phone, you can add the camera accessory to your cart. It's a $179 add on. (Used to be $199). I didn't see an option to purchase the 360 camera separately but hopefully there is an option to do that. When I tried to remove the phone from the other it deleted the camera mod as well. A little weird.

Looks like the Essential phone hasn't been selling so well lately. A couple sites reporting 5K units have sold. Maybe it's the price? Maybe it's marketing? Who knows, sales may pick up over the festive period.

If you read the reviews, the phone apparently is pretty bad.

It's an awesome phone!!! Has a few problems for some people. Radio performance is not so good, but I returned the Pixel XL for the same reason.

I have had mine for two days. Its an amazing phone. Great construction, smooth operation on Oreo 8.1 beta. Very quick finger print reader, excellent camera and the 360 camera is a hoot. No problems with uploading my google apps and the Oreo upload took 1 hour. I'm buying another for my wife and we expect to keep these for 5 years as that is how I buy and use phones. 499.00 on Amazon for the phone and camera. Lets see the other companies come out with that kind of value. No problems at all to report and Alexa is a great addition. This phone is an excellent value.
