ETA no longer works.

Among other problems, now the voice command WHAT'S MY ETA, no longer responds. Other Assistant commands work fine. Any others having the same problem?

When I asked the Assistant the long form of the question, the screen flashed but NO VOICE RESPONSE. But I'm stationary in my LR and the distance and time of arrival is already on the bottom of the screen. Clearing the cache did not help. I'll check it tomorrow while driving.

Could it be because you're not moving?

I was moving yesterday, it wasn't working. Since I have tried different things today, I'll try again tomorrow.

I tried the ETA command again after making the suggested changes. In the main Google maps app I
It still doesn't work. However in Google Go app, the Assistant does react to the command except the response is I DON'T RECOGNIZE THAT COMMAND So obviously this problem is with Google maps. Somehow just the commands related to the navigation part of maps but all other Assistant questions are OK. Maybe I'm missing something and there is someone who has figured out what to do to fix it.

I contacted Google support and they they suggested that I uninstall just the UPDATE, and reinstall the update from the Play Store menus. To my surprise, it worked. The command ETA is now again working..I thought it would be a good idea to repost to perhaps help others who experienced the same problem.

So it's the Maps app that is the issue. I'll have to give it a try when I actually go somewhere. Might be a while.

Apparently we didn't have the same problem because mine still works fine since I followed supports directions. Sorry you still have the problem.

Actually I just figured it out. In fact now I doubt I even had the issue to begin with. No matter.
