When sending texts, have you ever been shamed or hated on for your message appearing in a green bubble? Just curious.
I assume this is referring to texts from Android showing up in iMessage?
Never , you have?
Yeah...same here...I get Teased by my wife's parents about having an Android phone instead of having an iPhone "like a normal person"
Interesting , i have a iphone also but the ones i talk to with iPhone on my Andriod if they want video chat that i tell them download Google duo abd message i share Gif and picture, text no one complain.Yes
Like others, an occasional teasing from family members for "messing up" their messaging features. In turn, I'll sometimes reply by typing "loved an image" when someone sends a picture.
Never realized this was a thing.
For what isn't worth, never happened to me, but all of my incoming texts are green because I set it that way in my app's theming. Lol

Ive heard about it , hows your experience with that?If there's just one Android user in a group text, iMessage features like emojis on individual msgs (they instead see text like "loved an image") and adding/removing ppl from the chat are disabled. Maybe not a thing amongst adults, but for teens, where apparently the majority use iPhone, there can be peer pressure and shaming going on. Some teens say ppl stop msg'ing them when they switched to Android.
I've also done that. Since Android can now join a FaceTime call in a browser, I just ask an iPhone user to send me a link.

Admittedly, I am a "Blue Bubble Person" (visiting from iMore). Most of my family and extended family have iPhones, but there are two or three who prefer Android. The only issue is when sending a group text to both Androids & iPhones that include photos. For some reason, there have been occasions when Android users do not receive the text.

It has the basic features, including full screen and switching cameras, but nothing advanced. Like SharePlay, for example, where ppl on the call can collectively watch a movie or share content from a supported app with each other. Not that that bothers me, I'm only interested in communicating.
