Ever OK to use natural soap or baby shampoo on screen?

I have trouble cleaning grease off my phone with just warm water and wondered if there is any definitive word (from some definitive source) that it's not OK to use a simple soap or baby shampoo to clean. (?)

I dont see what it would hurt, i just buy the spray glasses cleaner (for eye glasses) and spray it on and use a soft cloth. Its great at getting the body grease off.

I'm only using water. I recently bought new eyeglasses. I mentioned to the optometrist that some of the coating on my previous pair had come off somehow. She asked if I had ever used anything on them other than water. When I told her that I had used some
spray eyeglass cleaner she said that was the problem. Even though it claims to be safe for coatings it will actually remove them.

Although I doubt it would do anything to the screen, that would be too much product to clean up and would be concerned it got into the speaker grill or any other holes.

I prefer anti static wipes myself.

I use these. You can buy them in the optical Dept at Walmart.

The wet application screen protectors use a soap solution to apply them. That being said, for regular use I'd be concerned, as noted above, with residue. Microfiber the way to go I think.
