Ever returned a rooted Incredible?

Took it to the store for a problem and nobody noticed it was rooted. They sent me a new one and i sent this one back. Any chance ill get dinged for it later?

Nah I rooted my buddies few months ago then the speaker blew out and he got a new one and they never said anything

I had to replace a few rooted devices (Moto Droid, Dinc, and Galaxy Tab) with out returning to stock (2 in store and 1 though mail) and they never said anything. By doing that your just taking a chance but I would guess you should be fine.

I had a problem with mine a few weeks ago. The battery was dying. It appeared to be constantly syncing. The factory restored it and never said a word. Its a rooted DX.

I had my phone replaced with a refurbished one a while ago and mine was rooted. They never said anything about it, you should be fine.

they reall shouldnt have anything to look for as long as you delete wireless tether, rom manager, set cpu, etc and the superuser app that one i dont even know if you can delete it

Better yet just do a factory restore before returning.

That's always been one of the reasons I haven't rooted yet. That and since i have the insurance for the phone, I didn't know if they would still replace it if something happened to it even though it was rooted...
