Here's what you're leaving out though. Android phone makers experimented with camera buttons, then stepped away from them rather than perfecting them. Apple is re-introducing the camera button with the capacitive feature on their entire lineup. It will become an Apple induced expected standard. Guarantee in 1-2 Android generations, every top tier Android phone will have one also. Apple hardly ever introduces new tech. They spend time trying to make a feature PR-Perfect™ so it seems like they made the tech the best it can be.
