Lately I have been constantly having this issue, only thing that fixes it is clearing data within manage applications. Although is doesn't seem to be a permanent fix. Any ideas guys?

i'm also seeing this when installing Quick battery off the market. it would install fine once i reboot is missing. When i go back to the market is telling is already installed

Being rooted shouldn't matter. You can try backing them (your apps) up with mybackup or titanium backup, booting into revocery, wiping all your caches and factory data, and reflashing your ROM. Then restore apps one by one and see if one of them makes your phone act up.

That's the best I can think of right now, and it's time consuming but might be the only way to know for sure. Unless the ROM you are running has known issues that cause this (like maybe needing to update GAPPS or something like that).

My fix was clearing data... At least from looking at dev blogs and Android market forums this has happened over and over. Google said they fixed it back in June, but the issue was reopened because users said after Froyo update it came back.

Do any others suffer from this issue with the "My downloads" tab in the market? Where you update an app, and come back and it's gone? Three things seem to make the apps reappear.

1. Clear Data of Market
2. Battery Pull
3. Installing a new app

After each of those, whatever apps had disappeared before after them being updated. These things would make them reappear. Is this a Market issue in 2.2?
