Wondering if anyone has put their 256 SIM card from the Note 7 in a replacement S7 Edge. Mine is on order and just curious if it will work.

The Galaxy S7 Edge supports up to 256 GB of expandable storage. It should work, unless there’s an issue with the card compatibility as has been the case with devices and various model/brand SD cards. Hopefully someone who has confirmed it works can chime in.

Did you get a S7 Edge?

I got the 7 edge. And the sim card is the Samsung evo that was a promotion for buying the Note 7. I thought I read the s7 edge only supports 200 gb.

Mine works fine too. Been moving apps one at a time to make sure there are no glitches. So far, so good.

Why in the world would Samsung have the 256gb sd card as a promo when buying a S7 or S7edge if it didn't work in the phone?
Of course it works

If you read the op, you will see that the 256 was a promotion for the note7. So maybe rethink your sarcasm.

I'm hoping my Evo Plus 256GB (received as an S7Edge promo) will work in my V20, when it arrives next week. I bought a 32GB Evo Pro for my s7Edge and it works fine.

OP, it'll likely work fine and you shouldn't even need to reformat it.

I'm also using the promotional SD card from the Note 7 in my Edge with no issues.

Actually the same promo was for the S7 and S7E as well. Either a Gear VR or 256 GB card. You could've gotten three cards in the past two months if yiu played your cards right. ☺

I bought an S7 Edge two weeks and one day ago -- I applied for the promo card and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. Pretty good given how they were saying that it could be just months and months and moths before I'd get one. I fully expect it'll work just fine when I plug it in.
