Today you can downgrade your device EVO 3D 1.5 to 1.4 to get S-OFF and then you backup this device to 1.5 hboot , still S-OFF, UNLOCKED ( not revolutionary ) and FULLY ROOTED.

This worked for me. HBOOT 1.5 unlocked S-OFF
