Evo 3D advertising

Well Radio Shack has been advertising it intensely. On its web site and in the stores. The store in my neighborhood had a big "EVO 3D IS HERE" sign outsides the store and another saying "preorder now!" along with written signs with markers on its windows.

As far as TV commercials, I agree, I haven't seen any. Then again, I don't watch much TV. With the anticipation building for this phone, they will probably sell out over the weekend anyway. So, Sprint probably is saying its unnecessary to spend money on commercials for a product that's going to be sold out during the first weekend whether do commercials or not. We will probably see commercials on launch day more than likely..

BTW, the Palm Pre will go down in history as one of the worst marketing campaigns for a cell phone EVER!

I too have noticed that Sprint tends to advertise devices after they are actually available. I guess building hype isn't their bag.
