Evo 3D complaints, just a thought...

First off let me state that I know there are people who have had real issues with the Evo 3D. This post is not for you, you may stop reading now.

I am getting tired of the post like "The Evo 3D sucks, I returned it and got a (insert phone here) and love it.
Why do I get the feeling that many, if not most, of the people posting these comments never even owned a Evo 3D? They are just trying to justify their purchase of the phone they do have, or are trying to brag about a phone they will be getting that has not been released yet.

I have seen one post where the poster said they were getting rid of the Evo 3D and getting an iPhone. Also that they had just upgraded to the Evo 3D. Now, they should know Sprint does not carry the iPhone. If they just upgraded they would have already had Sprint. They did not say anything about going to Verizon or AT&T.

I've wondered about some of these posts myself. If someone truly has a problem that is one thing and the point of the forums imho is to communicate, help, and learn. Some people post just to get reactions and/or because they like to complain. I am not a mod but if I were I would move all the "I'm Returning My Phone Because I'm Waiting For the Next Big Thing and You Are an Idiot for Liking This Phone" posts in one thread and the "I Just Want To Complain " posts in another thread and leave the rest of the space for people who really have questions.

Lol, I guess this post would go in the complaints thread.

Are you guys really serious? So let me get this straight, people have to be making up bogus threads because there's no possible way that everyone does'nt love the 3vo. Let's face it the phone has problems just like every smartphone out there. Whether an it's a issue you can or can't deal with is completely up to that individual, none the less there ISSUES. I can't believe I have to explain this to adults. Do you need everyone to be head over heels over the phone so you can be justified on your purchase? That fact of the matter is besides the whole 3D hoopla I think we all can admit the Evo 3D was released already behind the curve as far as speed and camera. If you like the Evo 3D cool, enjoy your phone I see no point in getting all hot about people returning it or calling it out on it's faults. Ever heard the saying " what You eat don't make Me s#%@"?

Trolling & Personal Attacks

This forum was built on the principal that each and every member (that's you) is treated with the utmost respect. We are extremely proud of this and feel this is one of the things that differentiates us from the rest.

That said, I have a zero tolerance policy toward individuals who come into the forums just to tear it apart. If you think the EVO 3D sucks then try hanging out in your own forum instead. The EVO 3D forum is dedicated to EVO 3D enthusiasts - not EVO 3D haters. If you're sole purpose of stopping by is to talk smack and turn people away from the forum you will be asked to leave.

Members with higher post count and those who have been registered for a while - should know better - and are not exempt. You should not be cursing, belittling, or making other members feel stupid for opening a thread.

It's this simple: keep the gloves on, stay on topic, and move on if you see a thread or post that really irks you. If you troll, bait, or piss people off on purpose, we have a button with your name on it. If you feel like you're a victim of this behavior, we also have a special button for you. It's that red and yellow folder looking thing in each post. Trust me, we have a group of mods with tons of experience that will respond in a fair way. The fine print is here.

wow, someone needs to lay off the caffeine. Plus missed the point altogether. People have had issues, and I am well aware of that. I thought I was clear in the beginning of the posting. Those people who come in and say "evo sucks, get a X phone. It is better. " are the ones I think are trolling and never owned an Evo 3d.

Also, the please do not talk about being an adult then throw a fit like a baby. It is unbecoming and completely invalidates your point.

I have a question, not really a complaint, and maybe someone can help me out.

I picked up the HTC Dock for the 3VO, and it's awesome. It does into dock mode whenever it's plugged in. Thing is, the 4 android buttons remain lit, is there anyway to turn them off when it's on the dock? I search through the settings but didn't see an option.

People who have legitimate questions or concerns are not who this thread is directed at. It is the people who come on here and insult those of us who are satisfied with our phones and insinuate we don't know what is good and what isn't, or come on here and tout the virtues of their phones over the EVO 3D. I enjoy learning and reading and helping people when I can but it seems some people don't want to be helped. Fine if one isn't happy with their upgrade or purchase but negativity should be taken elsewhere imho.

What point did I miss? You started a thread because you got the notion that because people are saying the Evo 3D did not work out for them and their looking/found better options that they never had one to begin with. As far as throwing fits like a baby look in the mirror you created this silly thread.Trust me your losing more sleep over this than me, your creation of this thread clearly shows that.
