Evo 3d not until July?

I know I know...it's another one of those "leaks" where an employee told me something, but, the thing is, he told me that they got an email from Sprint saying that it will be released in July. Unfortunately there were a lot of people in the store and he didn't have time to find the email for me so I could see it, but I will go back again hopefully tomorrow to see if he can find it and show it to me.

Does anyone here work at Radio Shack who could confirm the existence of this email?

Ugh....one more month than expected...I hate waiting!

the zero credibility thing is not accurate.

Working at a Sprint store we have access to various files that go over the marketing and device launches per quarter, and sometimes even further ahead in time.

I am not going to say it is right or wrong what he told you for obvious reasons, but just know that some know how to gain access to more information than others.

HTC is based in Taiwan.

Just because HTC is based in Taiwan doesn't mean they are not affected by what's happening in Japan. There could be quite a few components that are made in Japan that HTC relies on. Just look at Ford, or was it GM, anyhow, they had to cut back production or even halt production for some models because they are lacking parts from Japan.

In one of the videos they show the Evo 3d with the rear cover off, there is just no room at all for the kickstand.

Sorry, August is simply too long a wait for me. July is pushing it. I prefer a June release. The Evo was the hottest phone of the summer next to the iphone. Time for a repeat.

June 2008 - Samsung Instinct
June 2009 - Palm Pre
June 2010 - HTC Evo
June 2011 - ???

Im pretty sure this phone will be release in June, and remember the Iphone 5 will be release in June, or first of August. Sprint must get this phone out b4 an apple launch.

the first day of summer is june 21st so if it came out in july, they would be fulfilling their prophecy of a summer release.....

i know it sucks to know about something 3 months ahead of time. the last thing i wanna do is hold a f*ckin blackberry for 3 more months.

June/July is a very safe bet. Let's just leave it at that.

Anybody that paid attention to the thunderbolt release date will know that things can get crazy.

Nobody will have an accurate date this soon. It's just unheard of in the cell phone industry. Yes I'm sure Sprint has a target date but a lot can change between now and then.

Well I'm happy with my evo so even if the evo 3d is coming in July I can wait cuz I'm running cm7 I have my phone hooked up so it can wait til July for my evo 3d
