Evo 3D PRL Now 21083

I updated prl now i have 21083. Haven't noticed anything different...still roam at home...

I bit the big one and updated prl but it didn't change. Still at 21081. Service is still great so no harm, no foul. :)

Mine updated to 21083 by just using the PRL Update. I haven't noticed anything different, good or bad.

I had to update my Profile twice, then I could get the PRL to update properly. Thanks for the reminder!

Yea a prl isn't going to give you better speeds or anything, just helps with signal or should

I updated my profile, then went to update the PRL. It says it's current, and I"m at 21081

In WI.

Just a reminder guys and gals. The PRL does not affect signal strength or speed directly. The PRL (Preferred Roaming List) tells your phone what towers to look for. An example of this could be something like this: Sprint locked in a better roaming rate in x area with Cellular South than they previously had with VZW. Sprint now wants your phone to connect to that Cellular South tower rather than the VZW tower when you are out of range of Sprint towers.

Sprint has been doing some weird things with PRL's lately. If I had to guess they may be pushing some location specific PRL updates in conjunction with the Network Vision rollout just to keep things running smoothly in the areas they are actively working. I could be totally wrong about this though as I have no source and I'm just guessing.

That may be true from the data I saw on the Sprint network update site.
