evo 4 screen woes

I have an EVO 4G that took an unfortunate tumble which resulted in a broken inside cover tab. It was driving me crazy so I carefully took my phone apart to remove the broken piece. I got out the small piece of plastic and put it back together. When I turned the phone back on it seems like it is at full contrast. It is very ugly to look at. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums. Might want to try posting this in the evo threads. Also, you can take it to a third party repair shop. Ive had good experiences with them here where i live.
