EVO 4g No 3g Connection

So I've had my EVO for quite awhile now, have been running it as it but basically a month or two after I bought it I rooted and lost all 3g connectivity. No radio reflashes have helped, I've flashed new ROMs, I've flashed new kernels, I've used AOSP and Sense roms, rooted stock, unrooted stock...I've tried the quick fixes that are out there for boosting your 3g signal I've tried updating the PRL I've tried downgrading the PRL, and NOTHING has helped. The phone will run fine and I can still connect to 4g and my wifi works fine but the only mobile data connection I have is 1x. If anybody has any idea on what is wrong with my phone please give me something to work with as I'm getting very close to just using it as a clay pigeon. Or a golf ball.

sounds like a bad internal antenna

It's not the antenna, certain roms make the 3g inoperable, I had the same exact thing with my og EVO, try diff roms. I know for sure that you don't have a bad antenna
