Evo 4g "Speedy" 2.3.3 root avail???

I see a bunch of people talking about rooting an EVO4g, I have one and its the "speedy" running 2.3.3 . I want so bad to root this phone but no one seems to know if it works for sure. Any advise would be great. And don't bother typing "rooting for dummies" or any jive comments. I'm part of a big group that just can't seem to get an answer about this. Thanks and y'all are the cats meow!!!
