Evo audio options through Car Speakers?

1. Aux cable plugged into aux jack on radio (if you have one)
2. Bluetooth
3. FM transmitter (I still havent heard of a good one)

I'm in the same boat. I use option 1 right now.

hooked mine up with the headphone jack into rca cables into my alpine stereo. works like a champ.

I use bluetooth with my stereo system... Sounds great and no cords everywhere... Although a bluetooth stereo deck may be pricey to some..

I wish there was such a thing as a small bluetooth unit with a headphone plug so you could plug it directly into the aux jack on the car and then use bluetooth to connect to it from the phone. Does such a thing exist?

why would you ever want to go out of your way to use battery on your phone to degrade the sound quality of a hardwire?

to eliminate the 6 feet of wire I have that gets in my way? my Evo is mounted high on my dash in front of me.

Yeah i dont blame u.. I dont know of anything off the top of my head that does that.. But im like you... I hate wires everywhere... I like my baby clean... Plus its nice when im hanging out or at a car show and can change the music without being in the car.. Its already bad I havent found a way to hide the wire from my radar so I dont need two... Plus mine sounds great through my system..

Bluetooth car audio + Fresh 3.3 streaming is nuts, sounds as good as purchased music on my Ipod through the digital Ipod cable interface (not aux port).

What options do we Evo owners have to play audio though the car audio system?

1. Search is your friend
2. There are numerous options but without knowing what kind of radio your car has, the only advice you will get will be hypothetical. Practically every smartphone has the exact same options. The car is what limits you, not the phone.

If your car has a deck with a USB port designed to play mp3s off of a flash drive, you can connect the evo to it and play music stored on the device directly ( and charge the phone as well)

I do this ALL the time, and control everything through my headunit.

Just put the phone in USB STORAGE mode and its like having a free 8gb iPOD

i dont have a bluetooth deck so i use the aux cable. Works great and the evo is smart enough to know the difference between headphones with and without a mic, so if i geta phone call the handsets mic still works and the earpiece plays through the aux --broke mans hands free car phone --
