EVO Camera Problem (Please Help)

I'm having some recent problems with my main camera. It has some sort of red florescent look to it. I've already powered off and on the phone a couple of times as well as set my camera back to default. Still the camera comes up like this. Some things to note is that I am rooted through unrevoked but I don't have a custom rom. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Remove the modification off the phone - and see how that favors for you. Did you have this problem before rooting the phone.

Nope. Never had a problem with my camera. Been rooted for about a week now and this is the only problem I've come across. I will try the unroot method and see what happens. Thanks bro

its probably the camera module. If your fully rooted, nand backup, then wipe and start fresh, if that fixes it its software related, if its still messed up then you can take it to Sprint and see if they have a camera module that works with your Evo

Hey I have seen this issue just last week a friend I work with has had here Evo for 3 months she has kept her phone in perfect condition never drop anything she aslo is not rooted so she came to me I'm like the cellphone tech at work lol so I truer everything like stated but normal things like factory reset Ect.... but then I thought maybe I should slap the backing of the phone and guys I swear to you she had the same tint on her screen and all of a sudden it flickered and bam was back to normal but try a light tape like hold your screen facing you and tap the phones back case where the lens in while your in camera mode and see what that does try a couple of times and let us know what happens

Same thing happens to me. I kind of hit the phone on my leg or my other hand and it will go back to normal until it's dropped again. That fixes it for now. I am dreading the day it will not work anymore.

Wow guys I had this problem and I SOLVED IT!

Somehow the camera settings get defaulted on the SOLARIZE filter.
Go into the camera settings and set the filter to NONE.

...that should solve it!

Ha ha, just did it for me too! I thought I had messed it up when I changed the ear-piece speaker but gave it a few good whacks and BAM its back!

That was a great help I was dreading not having my camera this up coming weekend holiday and didn't want to have to oder a new phone while I was out of town slapped it started working the right way again thanks

Mine is making all my pictures blue when i use the flash. Non rooted, stock camera app. non flash works fine, when you use the flash the whole screen is covered in blue. this started after the latest update

when I was reading that people just whacked their phone and it fixed it I laughed, then I tried it on my EVO that just for first time had this issue and IT FIXED IT!!!! I have a 2 month old replacement. Bizarre!

Oh my gosh I was having the same problem and I took the advise of tapping the phone on my knee and it's back to normal. Thank you soo much. I was really bummed!!
