EVO finally available on Sprints online store

After being out of stock online for months the HTC EVO is finally available. Maybe this means that Sprints stores will also have a larger stock for customers to buy. On a good week we would get a shipment of 3 from HTC and that would sell out in about an hour.

I was contemplating about going with the Epic since it was available (go figure), but the physical keyboard was a turn off for me. Never really liked them. Good thing I waited!

Just ordered mine too! Have been watching this site (just joined up today) and when sprint.com showed it was finally in stock, I pulled the trigger.

My local Sprint store still has 85 people ahead of me on their waiting list (I put my name in 2 weeks ago) and is quoting 4-6 weeks, although the nice lady I called today said they are getting in more shipments now

I just ordered my upgrade EVO from sprint.com

Now how should I handle being on the Best Buy waiting list? Can I tell them too late when they call one day and use the $50 gift card on something else?

Or should I call/go there and get my name off the list and get the $50 deposit back.

Or am I out the $50 waiting list deposit?

Using the gift card on something else at BB in the future would be fine, I just don't want to lose the $50.

The $50 gift card is yours to spend on as you wish. You can use it towards the phone or buy anything else at best buy with it.

SWEEEET!! Too bad the UPS truck doesn't hit my area until around 6PM. Thats gonna make for a long day.

Ordered mine a couple hours ago. The wait begins! Looking forward to this phone. I've been on the waiting list at my local store for a month. Coming from a Palm Pre.

Mine is already on the truck set to deliver today. I need to run out early afternoon for a meeting and will be gone about and hour and half. UPS always comes late, but my luck, today he will come by early while I am gone. I assume it needs to be signed for..
