Jerry, what would enable the camera to record in 720P? Would it be the build prop or the Camera apk?
Wonder what it would take to make the incredibles camera record in 720P.

I would guess the apk. The driver itself could be different as well, even though the hardware seems to be the same.

Another thing to look into - EVO has sense widgets that only Euro Sense has had before. It's possible that the DInc runs a different HTC framework, which makes it even more fun lol

Careful with sprint nav. Fudging it on other carriers for BB got some people billed from telenav

Agreed. Tried to install Sprint_Qik.apk on my DI but it failed to install, as expected.

I have no idea how to decompile the dex file but I hear it can be done...here is the apk for anyone who is interested:

The one from the Evo is the special version from Sprint that allows video chatting through front or rear camera. Rear being the key word here

The current version of Qik that is installed in the Evo, does not have video conferencing yet. It will be updated prior to launch.

720p option is within the camcorder app, nothing to do with Qik.

*From what I've played with in Qik, the quality setting is just labeled High, Normal, Low when using the rear camera. When switched to the front facing camera it defaults automatically to low only, probably due to the front camera only being 1.3MP.
