I?ve had my EVO since launch day and I played with it like there was no tomorrow. It didn?t leave my hands for weeks, live wallpapers, constantly tinkering with my home screens even though I was happy with the layout? but everything has changed.

Now I have a static wallpaper and am starting to use it more like I did my blackberry. Phone, e-mail, text, and once in a while a game or two and some surfing.

Has anyone else gone through the evolution from toy to tool or am I just getting old.

You're just getting old.

Just kidding.

Sure, the novelty of it wears off after a while, but I do find myself using it more and my netbook less. The large screen really DOES make a difference.

I like my Hummer of a smartphone.

I use mine as a tool. I use it to show all the "have-nots'" what there missing .

I use mine the same as when i got it on July 4th but that might be because i owned a android phone before the Evo and was already used to Android OS.(as in it still hasn't left my hand :D)

I'm slowly using it more and more actually. Switching from years of blackberry's I was slow to adopt the new OS. Android is easy to learn but I'm also really busy so I don't have much time to tinker. The more I realize it can replace certain things, the more I end up using it =P
