I had to reset my phone back to factory defaults tonight and for he most part, the process of restoring my Backup content went well, except for my contacts. Some are missing and half of my contacts are now named (Unnamed) through the People window. All of my contacts are viewable through other applications, but not through the People window. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?
I am worried about trying to restore the contacts again, because all of my email address contact info was restored as well, so I had over 1000 contacts before I deleted most of them. I don't know what backup file would have only my normal phone contacts in them. So deleting all of my contacts are trying to restore them would be tricky.

I am still having this problem. I have used different backup files to restore my contacts, but each one either only installs a short list of my contacts, or it will post my contacts but not post he names of each person, or it posts every single contact (1045 Total Gmail Contacts) from my Google account. I only want to reinstall my mobile phone contacts, not all of my email address contacts. Has anyone else run into anyone of these issues? Any advice?
