Does anyone know if you can adjust the haptic feedback vibration setting to vibrate stronger or weaker in settings? I kind of like the haptic feedback but I'm noticing that my phones vibration is not as strong as when I first got the phone.

I don't think that you can adjust the settings to make the haptic feedback stronger. Personally, I don't like the haptic feedback at all.

The only way to make a vibrator assembly "stronger" is to make it go "longer," since it's physically an off-center mass that spins around. AFAIK there is no way to change the speed at which it spins. But I suppose it could be done, in theory, if there was a way to control the current sent to the vibrator.

Is there an app around or "hack" that could be done to make the text vibrate longer.

I came from the Pre where we had the option to make it longer. Just wondering. When I have it in the HTC hip pouch at work I often don't feel it.

Why is it that if you disable haptic feedback in the settings that it still is enabled in certain applications?

Keep in mind that there are separate settings..."Vibrate when typing" in Keyboard/Touch Input menu and "Haptic feedback" in Sound Settings.
