Hello to All
I have been a long time BB user, but have gotten tired of being behind the tech curve.
I do have a question. My wife has a Thunderbolt, does little other than email and checking news sites. Her data usage is about .5 gig. I am on my Storm constantly downloading files, checking, email, web browsing. My usage is about .05 gig.
It is my understanding that her higher usage is because of all the background programs running. Is there a way to shut down these non-essentially programs automatically so the data usage is lessened.
The reason for this question is that while my wife and I are on unlimited plans, so the usage does not really matter, we are getting my daughter a new droid smart phone with a limited plan and want her phone to be a efficient as possible.
thks in advance from a future Galaxy Nexus Prime owner (would wait for the note if Verizon acted like they would be getting it)
