I had htc m8. I just wanna share some of my likes, dislikes, and tips on 6p to other ex-htc owners.

Likes:
- the speakers are amazing. Not a downgrade from boom sound at all!
- love the huge screen!
- battery life is incredible!
- lightening fast!!
- awesome camera! takes fast, great quality images. (HDR is fast too!)
- quick to get camera ready!! double tap on power button to launch camera makes it almost instant.
- finger print sensor! I dont think i can live without it now.
- stays pretty cool for what I do (I dont play games)
- USB c: charges really fast! Way easier to plug in.
- text copying and pasting is much easier now.

Dislikes:
- still don't know where to find a legit car charger
- USB c is more loose
- warm looking screen. getting kind of used to it now. Actually is pretty easy on the eyes.
- the volume buttons seem to be sensitive
- hard to do screen-caps. it seems to prioritize volume change
- slightly harder to operate single handed
- (software) no default widget for quick wifi, brightness, bluetooth, toggle... it was a single touch for me to change these settings on m8
- (software) not liking the style of multi-task cards. grids were easier to navigate through on m8
- (software) i dont like how the google search bar is stuck on top. can't seem to remove it without installing another launcher
- (software) google now is fixed on left pane now, and I can't add an additional pane to the left of my main screen...

Tips:
- to clear all notifications, you drag up and hit the icons with 3 bars on bottom right
- you can make the phone feel even faster by turning down the transition animation to .5
- take advantage of the big screen with 2 google Keep widgets side by side! (I have 1 for work, 1 for personal)
- take advantage of the big screen and make all fonts extra large (makes facebook easier to read)

The only thing I'm really missing so far is Blinkfeed. I used that quite a lot on my M8, so I'll have to find a replacement for it. Other than that though, I'm really happy that I made the jump to the 6P.

1.) Does the 6P allow you to restart or only shutdown?
2.) How is the sound quality through headsets or car audio? I heard it is a step down.
3.) How is the speaker phone sound volume and quality compared to the M8?
4.) HTC mail is great for exchange email. Gmail not so much. What is your experience?

Only shutdown it down it seems

Haven't tested this yet

Volume has a higher max range. It's loud! Quality is very good. I would say it's pretty on par with boom sound.

I don't use htc mail. I use my Gmail for all other mail accounts.
