Excessive power drain on S9+

I got a notification that an app was causing excessive power drain, and it gave me the option to shut down the app. It was associated with Google Play somehow as a sub-app or something similar. It wasn't visible on the apps list, but Google Play was. When I went to change the settings under Google Play, they were unavailable.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Was it Google Play Services?

Keep in mind that this kind of system reporting of power drain can sometimes flag the normal activity of a system app. If it was a one-time thing or if it's very rare, then I wouldn't worry about it. If it's pretty frequent, that's when I'd be more concerned.

The only problem is that my wireless charger was barely keeping ahead of the power drain. So I switched to the corded charger, but it only lasted half a day. New battery too.
However, it seems to have subsided lately, and it seems to be returning to normal.
I wish Samsung would give us a heads up when their updates do that.

In that kind of situation, I would reboot the phone and see if the problem comes back.
