Exchange Downgrade??

My previous phone was a DINC. I was excited to get my DINC2, but when I was setting up my company e-mail, it seems that they have downgraded the capabilities of the built in exchange client. My company enforces policies, which include device encryption, and SMIME messaging. These features all worked on my DINC after the froyo upgrade, and have been using since. Now, I get the new phone, and those features do not exist? Any advice before I put it back in the box and ship it back? :'(

Or just give it back and use the dinc I hope they add it back in gb but their is no guaranty. Another good idea would be to contact HTC about it see of they have any insight on whether these features will return
