Exchange email problem

I configured the Email app on my Iconia tab to work witth the exchange server at work. Thought all was well until yesteray I discovered it is not sending outgoing mail. Incoming, calendar, contacts all work. Friend at work configured his Galaxy Tab 10.1 like mine and can send. Any ideas of what I might try? I have removed and then set up the connection fresh with no change.

I have the same issue & hopefully this will be fixed in an update. For now I have to uncheck (Include text) when replying to an email.

Thanks for reply. I didn't know that unchecking include text would make a difference, but that does work as a temporary solution.

I found the Moxier Mail app that handles everything well. However, a couple of days ago I began receiving the error message "The application Exchange Services (process com.android.exchange) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I've been using Gmail for my personal email, the Email app for syncing with my work calendar (like how it handled the calendar better than Moxier, and Moxier for work email. So not sure which one is causing the issue or why. However, turning off the auto syncing in Moxier Mail doesn't change things so that may rule it out as the culprit.

I found the issue related to the Exchange Services problem - evidently Google added Picasa as an option to sync, but don't know why they would add it automatically. Anyway I discovered that and unchecked it along with Books and some others I don't use - and haven't received the error message since.

Picasa Sucks resourses. As far as I know, it's some sort of image syncing. And it has wreaked havoc on a lot of devices.

I gave up - was able to receive exchange email with the default application and to send to someone on the network; however, if the person was not part of our exchange server, then sending was immpossible. I have since gone with TouchDown. TouchDown needs to be prompted to sync on occasion, but otherwise seems to work.

I use Maxier Mail as my exchangeclient for email, but still use email app for exchange calendar as I like how it integrates with my gmail calendar. I had issues with not being able to reply to most emails via exchange with the stock email app - they would just sit in the outbox. Maxier Mail has proven to be a great exchange email app for a couple of months now.

I was having this exact same problem. I rooted and installed thor's v14.1 rom. I can now sync email for 2 weeks and have not had any problems.

Touchdown works most of the time. It sends/receives. Receiving though is haphazard.

After the (two) updates, I continued to have the same Exchange issues. However, I did a factory reset and now Exchange works like a charm. Going on 4 days now with nary a Force Close... this allowed me to uninstall Touchdown and go native with my email app.
