Exchange phone?

I currently have a blue 32gb version. It has a small hairline scratch/nick a little above the light sensor. The length is almost the size of the sensor.. It came like this right out of the box brand new. I'm trying to live with it but it bothers me from time to time. I'm not sure if I should go through the process of exchanging it. Does anyone know how the exchange process works?

I bought it with sprint on the web. I think i'm going to call and get it exchanged.. I hope they have them in stock.
