Yo, Just got the Nexus S 4G today. Trying to set up exchange and am getting the following message " This Server requires security features this phone does not support".

Anyone see this? Anyway around it? Is there a better app out there to use than the stock one?

Let me know, I tried searching but didn't see a thread like this. If I cant sync my work email this will probably be a deal breaker.

You'll probably need to find out exactly what is required from your IT guys. For my wife's phone, I needed to set up a 6 digit pin before exchange would even connect to the servers. Once it did connect, it set up several more policies where the phone is wiped after so many wrong tries, can be remotely wiped, etc.

Thanks - I just came from a Pre and I was connected to my work Exchange without issue and I've followed the same procedure I did to set up my Pre but it seems as though there's a limitation with this phone or email app on this version of android.. I'll get in touch with my IT group to see whats up, they may be able to help me out.

We use Exchange 2003 at my work (out-dated I know). But I switched from a Pre and no errors here. The Pre had required me to use Certificate files, but the android just took it like a champ. I was surprised from my past Droid configuration experience.

Good chance they are requiring device encryption which at the moment only the Droid Pro does and SGS2.

The Palm Pre does device encryption from what I understand.

Ultimately you'll need to ask your exchange guys what Activesync security features they have enabled in their policy.
