I'm an Apple user hoping to get the HTC One as a iPhone 4s replacement. I use exchange server with work for email and have exchange server for personal email, contacts and calender. Nothing is on the phone/i cloud.

How well does multiple exchange email, contacts and calender intergrate into HTC One/Android? I love the way its so easy for the accounts to be added and work together on ios, is it the same for HTC One?

Thanks

It depends on the exchange server at work...I have to use Touchdown to get my work email.

My work email is through exchange, and works very well on the One; however that is the only exchange account I have, so I can't comment on how well it might handle multiple exchange accounts.

Get EnhancedEmail. I demo'ed/purchased every freaking Android email client I could find and this is the only one that worked for me. It handles IMAP, Gmail, POP, iCloud, Exchange (through 2010 I believe), etc. Some of the other clients that support Exchange don't support 2010 and I believe Touchdown doesn't sync calendars into the standard Calendar app. I think it has its own calendar. Enhanced Email will sync email, cals, contacts, etc.

I've used TouchDown for years and it integrates into the standard calendar app on both the One and the S4.

Good to hear. I may give touchdown another look. I know the guys that work for me on the IT help desk recommend it for users who are bringing Android devices into the company.

At my old firm, I was only allowed to connect my Droid X to the Exchange Server if I installed Touchdown. They liked the ability to remote wipe.

Great looks good. Work force a passcode and can remote wipe iPhone so I'm guessing they do the same with android

I'm the IT director where I work and the way it works with Exchange 2010 is that we can remote wipe the entire device if you're running either iOS or Android if you're using the stock email clients. One of the advantages to Touchdown is that it puts exchange account data in a separate sandbox and when it's communicating with the Exchange server it only knows about what is in that sandbox. So if I tell the exchange server to remote wipe an Android device running Touchdown it only blows away the Exchange email/cals/contacts associated with that specific account and doesn't touch the rest of the data on the device.

My company uses Exchange and have no problem. Also, I only have one account. YMMV.
