Ok, I know am shooting the kaboose on this one but what is your preferred pricing of the LG Nexus?
I am thinking that they will push the Galaxy Nexus to below $300, have the 8GB LG Nexus at $349 and the 16GB version at $400. According to the rumours, a 32GB version is not happening.
I am hoping, no, praying that they have the 16GB version for $400 coz I already have a buyer lined up for my HTC one X. I am finally bored of waiting for updates that are taking forever to come.
What do you think guys?

I honestly think its a pipe dream to have it launch at this much. Its very possible, we just don't know what it costs Google to make these. My guess was and is $499 for starters and it'll go down after time.

If they price it beyond $450, it will be a dud! Personally, the reason the Nexus line has been appealing to me soo much lately is because of the price point. They screw the pricing of the LG Nexus and am done. Waiting for updates is painful, but am not going to shell beyond 400 for any smartphone. Heck, I got my HOX off contract on eBay for $380
On the other hand, if they give me the LG nexus + Nexus 7 for say, something like $500, am going to jump on that like there is no tomorrow! I have never been on the pre-order line, but for that, I would be clicking half the night away

according to carphone warehouse its prices at ?389.95 = $600

US will be a bit lower. I would assume $400 - 450

And please please Google, please pack some earphones in the box. They may be S H I T but I not everyone is an audiophile and the out of the box ones suit most people well enough

That price is too damn high!!! They will not sell if they price it as much...
and $450 on contract?

Off contract.....But thats the way things are. Look at the price of the S3 and the Note 2, they are between $550 and $650. You either bought from some random person who got it off the back of a truck or someone who used their upgrade and sold it. That is not typical of the prices of today's phones. If Google can afford to mark that price and bring in a profit then it'll be a great deal. But don't kid yourself thinking $400 is normal price for a brand new top of the line phone.

Edit - Also those prices for the S3 and Note 2 are for phones that are locked onto a certain network while this will work on any GSM network.

Just go to ebay right now and you will find people selling their HTC one X's for upto $350. Just go and check it...And for the most part, carrier locked top tier phones are easily unlocked. Case in point, the Galaxy S3 is easily unlocked by an android app....

Why are you comparing eBay prices to a brand new retail price product? The One X is what 5-6 months old already? If you want to find this on eBay later you will certainly see it at this price, I assumed when you ask the question for the expected price you meant new and from a retail store.

Either way, I hope they price the 16GB version below$400, and hope that they do not look at pricing for other top tier phones

I really want this phone. As in /really/ want this phone. I have a n old as hell dinosaur and am a fan of LG smartphones, as I have a good experience with mine. While the GNex is still a good phone, the specs are already fairly outdated. But for 600 dollars? No way in hell will I get this. Not for a 99.9 average. Not for my birthday and Christmas and every other holiday combined. Such a shame, I really did want this phone. For under 500, preferably 300-400 it's be doable, but Idek.

There is no pricing yet, calm down for another 3.5 days.

They're out of their mind if they charge more than $400 for an 8gb non LTE phone.

$399 for 8gb model, $349 for 16gb model.

Google, make it happen.

That is everyone's wet dream. At that price, the LG Nexus will be sold out in minutes
PS I think he meant $349 for 8Gb and $399 for 16GB
