Experience with Sprint SMS

Is there any issues with this phone and SMS with Sprint. Mainly is there issues receiving SMS from an iPhone to the note 8. The reason I ask is that I started a job in October that requires timely receipt of SMS. Everyone on the office has iPhone, I was rocking the essential phone. I was receiving texts that I needed an answer to 45+ minutes after I needed the answer. In my field of employment this is not acceptable to I jumped ship back to iPhone. I truly enjoy Apple products except for the the iPhone, it's a boring crappy device in my opinion and iOS 11 feels like a beta with how many issues it has been having. I want to switch back to Android, and as much as I love and support the essential phone. It has had issues with texting on sprints network. This is the only phone I am considering at the moment.

can't be specific about Sprint, but I have an unlocked on T-Mobile and I text a lot of people with iPhones with no problem, never a problem with delays unless they are out of cell area. MMS even works fine.

I have Sprint and have no problem with iPhones sending me pictures. I have even sent them a Live Message.
