Explain the Nexus 7 32 Gigabyte with At&T SIM

I am very confused. I am thinking about buying the Nexus 7 32 Gigabyte with At&T SIM, but I don't know about the wireless plans. Do you pay extra for the plans, or do you get a wireless plan when you buy the tablet? Any help would be appreciated.

The Sim you get with the tablet is not. there are instructions on how to activate the Sim. I have att already, so I went down to the att store, and started a share plan which cost me 10$ extra a month. Sorry if I want much help

AT&T Wireless- Nexus 7 Data Plan options and support?

Basically, if you already have a wireless account with AT&T, there are some cheaper options, such as the $10/mo add-on duke1231 mentioned. Otherwise you're looking at $30/mo or a prepaid plan at $15 or more a month. Prepaid makes sense if you just need wireless occasionally (a few times a year), not every month.
