Export voice recording

Hope someone can help...

I made a voice recoding on the S4 this morning. Apparently it is not an MP3, and thus it seems impossible to covert to an audio file/MP3 for editing. Does anyone know how to do this?

Will I have the same issue with recording video and then exporting it for editing?

You can email it to yourself, then use a converting software to convert it, there are plenty of free ones

And then replace the default recorder with an MP3 recorder? I use Hi-Q by Yoku but there are several.

Yes, I use Rec Forge Pro for this reason.
