I've been reading that the extended battery I have for the thunderbolt will work on the rezound but I'm having a hard time locating a cheap battery door cover. Does anyone know of a good source for one?

Thanks in advance for your help

It will work they are the same battery. Try Amazon for a door.

Or check Verizon, they had extended batteries on sale for half off which when I got mine it came with the cover and was around 26 bucks with tax if you wanna spend that much. I know I ordered a standard back for my t-bolt from Amazon for I think.6 bucks including shipping.

Yuuuuup

I checked Amazon a little bit and ebay for the back, but the one I found was $25 for the back. I could get the battery and back from Verizon for $30 right now so it seems silly to spend $25 on the back.

I'm hoping to find one in the $5 range :)

I seriously doubt you will find a back for the rezound for 5 bucks as it's one of the only phones i know that has the antenna's in the cover hence why it's pricy.

I got the extended battery for my Rezound, half off. Love it. It's not all that big.

That's great news. I've been debating on whether to get one because of the size and lack of cases. But i went ahead and got the one from verizon and I'm going to order the case this weekend. I usually get the slim extended batteries that fit the normal doors of the phone. This will be my first regular extended battery so i hope it's worth the bulk..lol.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I just had a hard time coming to grips with spending $25 for a back when I can get another battery and a back for $30. I guess I'll make sure I'm keeping the Rezound before I make any decisions. :)

Not that bad or too thick is a matter of perception. I think the phone is a brick with the extended battery, but for $25 I couldn't pass it up. I deal with the added bulk, and on days when I don't need the extra juice, I use the standard battery. Bottom line is, I can't be tied to a charger, and my phone needs to work when I need it.

That's true. I actually dont mind being tied to a charger as i sit at a desk all day at work so i can charge when needed. But i got the extended battery so i can actually enjoy the features of my phone lol. like turning the brightness on the screen up and not having to worry about my battery being dead in a couple hours lol.

I don't mind charging, but hate having to just to make it through the day.
My office just recently extended its guest network so I can still connect with wifi from my phone and use youtube.

I got the rezound because I knew I could get an extended battery for it in the event that it didn't make it through the day. I didn't want to spend $99 on a razr and be forced to get some aftermarket kit to extend life, I didn't want the $150 5mp galaxy nexus, and I wasn't going to bump up to the $300 maxx. The $80 rezound that I got works perfectly so far and I can get close to maxx like battery life for $30 more.

I thought about an iPhone because I bought a lot of apps for it before I gave it to my wife when she broke her htc trophy. I just couldn't settle for a non-upgradeable 16gb 4s for $200. I also almost tried to pre-order a galaxy s3, but I had bestbuy credit and that won't work at verizonwireless.com :)
