Hello, I picked up a pair of extended batteries and was wondering what the second set of battery contacts is for?
I hope I don't have to flip the battery over to use the other contacts when one side goes dead...that would defeat the whole purpose..

Anyone know what the second set of contacts is for?

I also noticed this during the brief (approximately 4 hours) period I had the extended battery, but I didn't consider the idea of having to flip it over because I thought it only fit into the phone one way (the way the arrows lined up). Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, though.

Also, if you flipped it then wouldn't the second set of contacts not line up with the contacts of the phone anyway?

If that's the case look into a product made by new trent...5000mAh...charges all my devices...ipad phone.gfs phone all in the size of a phone...awsome.

Hmmm, I guess its a mystery for the time being. I might have to try flipping it when one side goes dead to see if it makes a difference...

Is anyone using the extended battery that would know ?

Did it not come with a small leaflet/instructions? Every battery I've bought has had one. If you have to flip that honking thing over, that would make it the most ridiculous spare battery I have ever seen, both functionally and visually.

Agreed Cory..
The limited instructions weren't very helpful.
I'm hoping this battery doesn't need flipped over ....it would have to win the stupid engineering award of the year !!
