What is the largest capacity battery that willfit in the Droid Bionic with the standadr battery.

Also, if I buy an extended battery that needs a new battery door does anyone have good experience with any of the less expensive batteries?

I don't have any experience with the less expensive batteries. I purchased the extended battery from verizon when I bought the phone. it is a lot bigger than the standard battery. however I use it more than the standard battery.I actually have only used the standard battery a handful of times to test the differences. I would say the extended battery lasts at least twice as long as the standard. in order to drain the extended battery in 1 day I have to stream sirius radio for about 8 hours while at work check email make a few calls and do some web browsing. 4 normal use I would say the extended battery lasts me at least 2 days without recharging. hope this helps.

wow if I could get a full day with the standard battery that would be great. I am hoping that people that just received the major sw update would comment on the effect on the battery

Ya I don't have the update I used the standard a few times. I would say with moderate use. Calls browsing email etc. You would be around 20% at the end of the day.

20% would be okay, I am going to be getting the Bionic later this week and I guess I am going to try it with the standard battery at first and see if I can make it through the day on it.

The standard battery got me about 6 hours standard use. The VZW extended batter got about 10 hours. I bought a 4000 mah from ebay. the first charge cycle got about 29 hours yesterday. So far the only downfall is the back that comes with the 4000 mah battery. It is HUGE. But i can live with the combination for the extended time not having to charge.

I would like to find a gelcase to fit it but would take any suggestions........Thanks

How much extra depth does the 4000 mah battery add over the original battery?

I would say double over the 1735 mah battery. I need to find some kind of agel case for the thicker one but not having any luck. Ebay has the batteries and so does Amazon.
