Just got the tablet on the weekend and really enjoying it.

We got the 32GB expansion SD card.
Going in with file explorer, I can see the card, and I can copy files on to it, and also move them to the device storage.
But apps like XBMC don't seem to recognize it. I can store videos on the main card, and reach it with XBMC. But I haven't found a way for XBMC to get at the external SD card.

Is there something special that I need to do in order for apps to see this kind of storage?

Thanks

Same issue on my gs3 it picks my internal up as external and no sd shows up.

Actually just found mine. If you see root file system click that and sd should show.

hello, i'm french
i found how show the content of external SD card

when you browse to select the path, take external storage (path /mnt/sdcard) : i know it's main storage onboarding, but edit path to modify , and change sdcard to sdcard2 ...

for me :
/mnt/sdcard2/HD-Movies (my mkv, mp4 are here) .... but be carefull : select the ending folder before movies content (for me HD-MOVIES)

and finisih to set yours parameters to complete (language movies etc) , check online ; the download comes fine !!!

ps

scuse me for my bad english :)

simply write in the device adress:
/mnt/extSdCard
Your external card is now ready and you can play your movies placed there
