Hi! I own an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note i717. It is rooted and running on the official 4.1.2 JB OTA with ParanoidAndroid version 2.57 (based off CM 10 --- see attached screenshot of my "About Phone") My trouble is that since I upgraded the firmware, re-rooted and flashed TWRP 2.5 and PA (firmware, custom recovery via Odin3 v.1.85 and Superuser/Busybox via TWRP 2.5) my external microSD card is randomly and very frequently un-mounting. I can easily re-mount though the settings-storage menu but am wondering if anyone knows how to possibly keep my storage mounted permanently as it is very frustrating and inconvenient. Any help would be *GREATLY* appreciated. Thanks! =)

Well your not running Stock. You installed a custom ROM. While you may have the new modem, that is certainly not stock with PA installed over it. PA can be installed over stock.

From looking you have an older version of PA installed built by JamieD on XDA. Just by the kernel and build you can see this. Since it is only running on CM10 and version 4.1.2 I know it is the old PA build. The newer versions of PA are AOKP based and PA version 3.

Since I have run that ROM before I know how it works. That sounds to me like the card is trying to warn you that it is dying. After all SD cards are not made to last forever. Last time mine did that, it crashed and couldn't be recovered. That is feom my personal experience. I would back it up now for good measure.

But the only thing you can try is wiping system/cache/dalvik and reinstall the ROM.
