AC Question

On May 17th 2016 I received an OTA update for my Irish Note 4 SM-N910F for Android Marshmallow 6.0.1, I've since had 4 updates regarding battery optimization issues but that's exctly what my problem is, battery!

When I ran lollipop 5.1.1 I went to school and used my phone heavily and would come home with 65% and now I'm getting barely 6 hours from my phone?!?! It drains about a percent every 4-5 Minutes which is massive.
I've spoken to samsung and my carrier and there are no issues wit the phones hardware, I've factory reset it twice, deleted all of my apps, tried safemode and monitored my battery usage with Gsam for several weeks and the main users are Android System, Google Play Services, Screen (which is always less than 50% bright) And Android OS, none of these have ever, EVER caused battery drain before and I'm really struggling with this, I've also tried turning off mobile data and wifi when not in use and turned off background sync but nothing is working, please please try and help me..

Same problem, battery life sucks now! Hope someone replies with a solution OTHER THAN A FACTORY RESET!

It could be as simple as an old battery that needs to be replaced. Typically batteries last 2-3 years. However due to charging habits it most only last a year and a half. This is me just posting after glancing at your post.

Can you post the gsam picture?
